MEET THE ACTORS

When I first had the idea of doing a video adventure instead of a book trailer, I assumed we would film live actors. So I modeled the main characters, Cullen and Della, after people I knew--because then I could get them to act in the video adventure for free!

Problem is ... I didn't tell them in advance.

HOW DID YOU FIND THE ARTIST?

My introduction to Monica Bruenjes was quite serendipitous. She simply posted a drawing on my facebook page.

BACKGROUND IMAGES OF WORLD'S FAIR

The cost of filming scenes with buildings that would do the World's Fair justice, crowds of people in costume, a Ferris Wheel that was historically accurate, and a boat chase in gondolas was rather cost prohibitive, as you can imagine.

So when the idea of doing an animated version of the adventure presented itself, I was thrilled at the prospect of presenting the fair in a historically accurate fashion.

See how the artist, Monica Bruenjes, achieves such meticulous detail.
